"I've been thinking a lot lately about growing up.

every phase of life feels so permanent when you're in it, and then suddenly you're somewhere new. New city, new routine, new version of yourself. But through all those changes, there are a few people you hope you'll get to take with you.

 

for me, that's my best friend.

 

this year, our friendship turned seven. I knew I wouldn't be there for her birthday, and I wanted to give her something that felt bigger than a gift — something that could symbolize all the years behind us and all the years ahead.

 

that's where the idea for Pinky Promises began.

 

a promise ring, but for your best friend.. a small reminder that no matter how far life takes you, you're carrying a piece of each other.

 

what started as a personal gift for one friendship became something I wanted to share with all the girls who have someone like that in their lives.
